I’ve had lots of frogs and hundreds of tadpoles in my pond this year.I took this pictures a couple of weeks ago, see how many frogs you can see (there are ten). See more about frogs and toads. here Each spring the pond is full of mating frogs and the odd toad and also newts. This is followed by masses of tadpoles, some of which become food for the birds. It isn’t usually long before the birds notice the masses off wrigging taddies in the shallow section of the pond and start to pick them of to feed the chicks they are rearing.
